I AM EYES AND INSTINCT
I live through light, volumes, spaces, colors, shadows, blacks and whites alternating with vivid hues, through contrasts and subtle gradations.
Through the fleeting moment in which I direct my “third eye” toward the world. My photography is about sensing images before even seeing them. Imagining them and visualizing them in my mind hundreds of times, searching for them in the world, and then recognizing them in an instant. Capturing the essence and energy of everything that seizes my senses.
It is a journey into the reality of things, which bends to my own journey—whether physical or imagined. Reality yields, almost as a willing pretext, becoming the stage for my wanderings, be they of the mind or the body. And I like the idea that this same path will then be followed by others, who—perhaps reaching different destinations—will share in my instant-long journey.

SONO OCCHI E ISTINTO
Vivo di luci, volumi, spazi, colori, ombre, bianchi e neri alternati a colori nitidissimi, di contrasti, e sfumature.
Dell’attimo fugace in cui dirigo il mio “terzo occhio” verso il mondo. La mia fotografia è sentire le immagini prima ancora di vederle. Immaginarle e visualizzarle nella mente centinaia di volte, cercarle nel mondo e poi riconoscerle in un istante. Cogliere l’essenza e l’energia di tutto ciò che rapisce i miei sensi.
È un viaggio nella realtà delle cose, che si piega ad un mio viaggio, fisico o immaginario che sia. La realtà si piega così, quasi docile pretesto, a scenario per i miei viaggi, mentali o reali che siano, e mi piace l’idea che quello stesso percorso sarà poi eseguito da altre persone, che condivideranno, magari raggiungendo altre mete, il mio cammino di un istante.La fotografia, un occhio per osservare lo spirito del mondo.
